INTRODUCTION

The Department of Commerce was established in line with the establishment of Merlimau Polytechnic in 2002. The existence of the Department of Commerce can support the aspirations and goals of the Polytechnic to produce semi-professionals with knowledge and skills in accountancy, marketing and business studies that can be absorbed into various industries. The academic staff of this department consists of lecturers who are qualified in various fields such as accountancy, finance, business management, marketing and others who have extensive experience in educational services.

Mission

Equip students with comprehensive knowledge related to the field of accountancy, marketing and business studies while applying noble values ​​towards the formation of a knowledgeable, moral, disciplined, tolerant and competitive society. The Department of Commerce is also committed to providing students who are skilled in applying theoretical and practical knowledge in line with the needs of the industry in support of the country's vision and aspirations in achieving the status of a developed country.
